Schools
Schools
We run puppetry and theatre devising
workshops for school groups.
We have packages/performances
for years 1 to 6, 7 to 10, and VCE.
Our VCE workshops are curated around
the Victorian curriculum for Drama and English.
The roadmap for these sessioms is a 30 minute performance, followed by a 60-90 minute workshop based on the themes and skills found in the performance.
Creating with
disabled artists
As an entirely neurodiverse collective, we've spent a lot of time making theatre across the UK with other disabled artists. We've collated years of experience into workshops that are designed hold a space for all bodies and minds to experiment with puppetry and theatre making.
Community Groups
From running summer theatre programs in rural Victoria to the Northern Territory, to producing emerging artists weeks on rural Scottish Islands, Hot Heads use art as a community builder.
We are looking to do more slow touring in Australia - taking a show to a rural community and staying there to help that community create their own show. Our company bus is both our travel and accommodation, so we are able to stay within and commit to communities.
"The amazing Hot Heads crew offered our kids truly fun and engaging activities. Those activities saw the kids leaning into creativity with bright and brilliant artworks as well as showing their incredible flair for clever construction using recycled cardboard, all culminating in some beautiful physical expression: dancing and racing in their personally made cars. Great learning all round and memorable fun for everyone. Thanks Hot Heads." - Neil McKenzie, WANTA Programme, Yuendumu NT
